Now THIS is the kind of medical sitcom we need. A story that shows that doctors have hearts that are warm and break. I love you for making this.

We have it pretty cushy in the lab, all things considered.
We see the test results we produce and often know a patient is in a bad way, but we don't have to see them struggle, or break bad news. Some days the work is pretty intense, but we don't have to deal with the heartbreaking parts.
